If the weather should be a little mixed in Lille this weekend, the temperatures should be conducive to beautiful little outdoor outings. 5.30 p.m. – Reopening of the summer guinguette in Wambrechies

We wanted to start the weekend with a chill moment, a bit sunny, at have a drink by the water in the countryside but 10 minutes from Lille. After a promising first summer, the Amusette de Wambrechies, ephemeral and summery guinguette on the banks of the Deule reopens in its country setting and its bar placed in an English bus in the middle of the fields. We love the idea and we validate the spot! In addition the place is kids friendly.

It’s the 3rd hike of the Baroudeurs Club (see our article here)! This time it’s Simon who organizes the outing and he chose to take us to the forest of Marchiennes! On Sunday May 8, the appointment is therefore given at 10 a.m. in front of the Marchiennes cemetery for a course of 12.5km through the forest and the newt ponds! For backpackers who would be tempted to come by train+bike, the easiest way is to arrive via Landas station, which is located 7.3km from the cemetery. ravito-aperitif planned mid-term.
