You have chosen to go on vacation to France for your next vacation. You want rest and a formula all-inclusive worry-free including all resort services and activities. The Club Med formula is made for you. Which holiday destination in France to choose? I-Voyages has selected several resorts and destinations in France for you.
The Club Med concept
Leaving with Club Med means having the certainty of having a real vacation all-inclusive including full board, drinks, activities (even ESF lessons in winter) and a children’s club so that the whole family can make the most of the holidays.
The village resort of Peisey Vallandry located at an altitude of 1650 m in the Paradiski area which also includes Les Arcs and La Plagne is perfect for snow holidays but also summer holidays, the Vanoise national park not being far away for beautiful hikes.
Club Med de Peisey Vallandry is a comfortable and warm 4Ψ establishment. I stayed here on a long ski weekend. Its advantages: a location in the heart of a mountain village, its warm setting, its children’s club for 4-17 year olds and its easy access by train (Landry station 15 mins away).
La Plagne is a winter sports resort in the Tarentaise valley which faces Les Arcs and Peisey Vallandry. The ski area lends itself well to all levels for the whole family.
During my stay in Peisey Vallandry, I was able to go to Club Med in La Plagne 2100 for lunch there in the middle of a great day of skiing in the Paradiski area. Here again, Club Med did not do things by halves. This 4Ψ, with its red roofs and solid timber framings, offers all the necessary comfort for a family stay. Its assets: its children’s club for 4-17 year olds, its sunny outdoor private terrace on the edge of the track, its cozy setting and an area for all levels.
Val Thorens is a leading destination for lovers of great skiing. Located at an altitude of 2300 m, it guarantees excellent snow throughout the winter season in the 3 valleys area.
I fell in love with Club Med Val Thorens Sensation, in particular for its modern and bright architecture and its openness to the resort. Its strengths: its climbing wall, its avant-garde architecture, festive return-to-ski events allowing you to have a drink on your skis, dinners in a yurt.
Valmorel is a charming village resort that prefers noble materials to concrete. Here, there are no buildings but wooden, stone and slate chalets. Walking around the resort after a day of activities is very pleasant and there is no shortage of good addresses.
The Valmorel 4Ψ resort also offers a Club Med Exclusive Collection space and high-end 5Ψ private chalets.
Its assets: accessible from the entrance to the Tarentaise valley and before the Moutiers traffic jams, its children’s club for 4-17 year olds, the warm and luxurious setting, the typical charm of Valmorel, the nature activities.
Other than in the mountains
Did you know that Club Med also has resorts in France other than in the mountains?
Club Med La Palmyre invites you to discover the Charente hinterland, to sail on the Atlantic or to explore the coast by bike.
In Provence, the Club Med d’Opio on the heights of Cannes has a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts and even a school to discover circus arts. Zen atmosphere in the heart of the largest olive grove in the region, which will allow you to taste the olive oil of the house.
Last suggestion outside the Alps: Vittel in the heart of the Vosges forests where Club Med has two resorts, a 3Ψ and a 4Ψ. The destination offers an exotic retreat for lovers of golf, horseback riding and nature.
I hope you enjoyed my selection of Club Med resorts in France. And you, which resort would you recommend after having stayed there?
